Every piece of leather we use is 100% real, genuine hide, not plastic, not "vegan leather," not a printed imitation. It came from a living animal, and just like human skin, it has a story written into it: bumps, wrinkles, scars, stretch marks, insect bites, and other natural markings picked up over its lifetime.
We source our leather from reputable suppliers, but even the best hides aren't blank canvases. Most have these natural markings throughout, not just in one spot. Natural markings are not a manufacturing defect, a flaw, or a mistake. They are the leather doing exactly what leather does.
Because of this, we do not accept returns or exchanges based on natural leather characteristics, including but not limited to: marks, wrinkles, scars, insect bites, color variation, grain differences, or texture variation. These are inherent to the material, disclosed here in advance, and are considered a feature of authentic leather, not grounds for a refund or exchange.
If you're looking for a perfectly uniform surface with zero natural variation, genuine leather may not be the right material for you. We're always happy to answer questions about a specific piece before you order, just reach out.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept leather in its real, natural, and unique form.
